Swarovski adds sparkle to Gleeds’ new Mega Tower project in India
International management and construction consultancy, Gleeds, has recently been appointed as Cost Planner to the Amanora Gateway Towers 1 development in Pune, India. The luxury residential towers will be the first to be co-branded by world renowned fashion and lifestyle retailer, Swarovski.
Gateway Towers will be Swarovski’s first luxury residential project in the world and one of a growing number of branded residential projects in India. The apartments are being sold with the advertising slogan, “Space Marvelled by Swarovski” and will feature specialist crystal applications and lighting products for the fixtures and interiors appealing to India’s growing high net worth client base.
The 14 acre site itself will form the gateway to the township of Amanora which sits in the Pune catchment area and will comprise 410 luxury apartments of between 1,200 and 6,000 sq ft, as well as an exclusive sky spa, dip pool and a leisure zone on the 26th floor. The Towers will reach a height of 150 meters over 45 storeys, making them the tallest skyscrapers in Pune, one of India’s fastest growing population centres.
Commenting on the scheme, Stuart Senior, Main Board Director of Gleeds Nottingham said; “I am delighted that Gleeds’ Indian operation, Gleeds Hooloomann, has been appointed to this prestigious and unique project working for our client, the City Corporation. Our vast expertise gleaned from working on five star hotels all over the world will be of significant benefit during the cost planning process. Clearly, the involvement of Swarovski adds more than a little sparkle to the whole project”.
The project is expected to complete by 2016.
